Pelepasan Ribuan Calon Jemaah Haji Wajo, Andi Rosman Berpesan Perbaiki Niat dan Jaga Kebersamaan Selama Ibadah
WAJO - Wajo Regent Andi Rosman and his deputy Dr. Baso Rahmanuddin attended the release of Prospective Hajj Pilgrims (CJH) from Wajo Regency at the Ummul Quraa Grand Mosque in Sengkang, Tuesday (7/4/2026).
The activity was attended by Forkopimda elements including the Chairperson of the Wajo DPRD, the Wajo Police Chief, heads of OPDs, the Head of the Wajo Regency Ministry of Religion, the Head of the Wajo Regency Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
Then the KBIHU for all of Wajo Regency, the Chairperson of Baznas Wajo, the Chairperson of IPHI, the group companions, and all prospective Hajj pilgrims.
In his remarks, Regent Andi Rosman expressed his gratitude for the departure of prospective Hajj pilgrims this year, especially since Wajo Regency is the area with the highest quota of 2026 Hajj pilgrims in South Sulawesi, namely 1,941 people.
"Alhamdulillah, we continue to express our gratitude to Allah SWT for the opportunity given to us all. Today, the Wajo Regency Government officially sends off prospective Hajj pilgrims for 2026," said Andi Rosman.
He hopes that prospective pilgrims will remain steadfast in their worship and that the officers and Hajj companions will continue to provide the best service.
"We hope that all Hajj officers and companions will provide the best service to the congregation," he requested.
It is known that seven groups of Wajo Hajj pilgrims will depart at the Palaguna Islamic Center.
"Thank God, our departure location, including the facilities and other amenities, are ready, and we urge prospective Hajj pilgrims to perform their pilgrimage well," he said.
"All of us who have the opportunity to perform the Hajj this year are lucky people and chosen by Allah SWT," concluded Andi Rosman.
