Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) melalui Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat (FKM) dan Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi (FKG) melakukan penandatanganan Perjanjian Kerjasama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Wajo terkait pendampingan penanganan Stunting, kabupaten sehat, dan pendampingan penanganan caries gigi.
Penandatanganan perjanjian kerjasama ini dilakukan di ruang pola kantor Bupati Wajo, Sabtu (24/10/2020) sebagai rangkaian dari peringatan Dies Natalis Unhas ke 64.
Perjanjian Kerjasama tersebut dihadiri oleh Rektor Unhas, Prof Dr Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA, Bupati Wajo, H. Amran Mahmud, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Wajo, drg. Armin, M. Kes, serta Dekan Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat dan Dekan Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Unhas.
Dalam sambutannya, Prof Dwia mendukung penuh perjanjian kerjasama ini, dan berharap Unhas bisa memberikan kontribusi yang benar-benar membantu Kabupaten Wajo untuk mencapai harapan dan visi pemerintah setempat.
“Kita memang punya komitmen terhadap wilayah-wilayah yang berada dekat dengan Unhas. Kami tentu berharap, perjanjian kerjasama ini akan benar benar menghasilkan sesuatu untuk kemaslahatan masyarakat,” kata Prof Dwia.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Bupati Wajo, H. Amran Mahmud berterima kasih atas kesediaan Unhas untuk melakukan kerja sama dengan pihaknya. Hal ini menjadi langkah awal yang baik mendukung Kabupaten Wajo sebagai Kabupaten yang sehat dan ramah lingkungan.
