<p>Rabu 15 Mei 2019, Pasar Lampulung Atakkae diresmikan oleh Bupati Wajo, Dr. H. Amran Mahmud, S.Sos., M.Si yang didampingi oleh Wakil Bupati Wajo, H. Amran, SE.</p>
<p>Dengan adanya Pasar Lampulung, masyarakat Atakkae kini dengan mudah menjumpai barang yang menjadi kebutuhan sehari-hari karena sudah tersedia demikian juga dengan pedagang Ikan yang juga dapat dijumpai disana.</p>
<p>Dr. H.Amran Mahmud, S.Sos., M.Si menyampaikan rasa syukur dengan hadirnya pasar tersebut yang akan menggerakkan roda perekokomian masyarakat, dan juga merupakan suatu pertanda jika daerah kita juga akan maju.</p>
<p>Kawasan adat Atakkae juga akan dikembangkan sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu tempat wisata yang menarik minat masyarakat daerah lain untuk berkunjung ke Wajo, dan tentunya hal ini akan berdampak pada perekonomian masyarakat Kabupaten Wajo.</p>
<p>Amran Mahmud juga menyampaikan bahwa di Wajo banyak potensi wisata yang bisa dimajukan dan dikembalikan kejayaannya, sehingga dapat menarik minat wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara.</p>
